Le Meridien Mina Seyahi

Nothing says ‘holiday’ more than a swim up bar, an infinity pool, and the beach beyond palm trees… it’s a beautiful sunny day at @lemeridienminaseyahi with the sound of splashing in the pool, the smell of bbq on the grill, and people angling their sunbeds towards the sun in search of the perfect tan.

HiH Must Try: Enjoy lounge music and double-bed sunloungers @barastibeach during the day

The Welcome

Time dramatically slows when you enter the airy lobby of this hotel, where the promise of beach and sun await just on the other side. Take off your watch, kick off your heels and get ready to tell time only by the movement of the sun and how many glasses with umbrellas in them you have near your sunbed.

Sweet Suite

Stunning. Sea. View. Enough said. With so many five star hotels springing up in Dubai on a regular basis, you’ll understand why Le Meridien Mina Seyahi has long held onto its charm with tourists and locals alike. The rooms are simple, modern and chic. There are lovely works of art decorating the walls made by local artists.

Food-tastic

There’s nothing like swimming all morning and working up an appetite. Maybe that’s what makes sinking your teeth into a burger piled high with caramelized onions and melted cheese so damn delicious. The curly fries on the side will somehow disappear off your plate as everyone around you reaches out to try your order at Horizon.

One of my new fave restaurants in Dubai is Fish Tavern, an airy restaurant with wooden tables on the grass facing the sea that evokes the charm of the Greek islands. I grew up in Greece, so between that association, the amazing food, the romantic atmosphere (lanterns in the trees!) and the heady sea air, it’s no wonder I went there four times in one week when I first happened upon it.

Can you believe this isn’t Greece?

Spa-mazing

Get a respite from the heat with a couples massage that includes tea, nibbles, and champagne if it’s a special occasion.

Just For Kids

If you’ve got kids between the ages of 4 and 12, they’re in for a treat at Kids Club. From shell painting to volleyball and badminton, it’s sure to wear the kiddies out while you enjoy a lie-in in the sun.

Instaparty

When the weather is lovely in #Dubai, kick off your heels and sink your toes in the sand while dancing on the beach at Barasti. You’ll find families in one area chilling on bean bag chairs and smoking shisha, while the party people dance up a storm right on the beach near the DJ. Just try not to spill your fruity drink on your dress.

So…Kids Club or Party Central?

Both. Children will love the kids club activities, while the party crowd will have a blast at Barasti. If there’s a special party or DJ, Barasti does tend to get loud and rowdy, so you may want to check on performances when you book.

Here’s a suggestion of #whattopack to make the most out of a stay at Le Meridien Mina Seyahi!

Embrace sunny pool vibes and laze around in this watermelon pool float. Look luscious in this gorgeous peach one-piece suit and sparkly espadrille wedges. Fashion has been having a playful year, so why not bring #choupette along with you in @karllagerfeld’s beach tote for some stylish fun in the sun… and how cute is that #iPhone cover?
